Who doesn’t want free stuff?
As a soon-to-be first time mom (surprise!), I want only the best for my child. I also want to be prepared and I want everything to be ready in case I need it. One of those things is infant formula. Now don’t get me wrong, I am a staunch supporter of Breastfeeding. I think Breastfeeding is still the way to go especially for newborns. However, our milk supply might not be enough or might not come in right away. I don’t want my baby to be hungry and crying all night just because I cannot give him what he primarily needs, food. Not feeding baby = abuse. Always remember that. So it is a good idea to have a small stash of formula JUST IN CASE.
I am very lucky to be here in the US to be able to avail freebies and samples. I don’t know if this kind of program is available in the Philippines because I never heard of anyone talking about it. One of the companies that give away free samples is Enfamil.
Enfamil is a worldwide known brand of baby formula that has been there since the 1950s. This blog post is not in any way a recommendation or a sponsored post but I want to share to all the soon-to- be moms out there that you can actually get free samples from companies so you don’t have to buy these items.
How to get those freebies? It’s actually very easy. All you have to do is sign up with their program, Enfamil Family Beginnings — https://www.enfamil.com/enrollment. That’s it! And you’ll be receiving free samples, flyers, expert advices, etc!
I signed up with them when i was around the 6th month of my pregnancy and two weeks after, I started receiving stuff. Here are the items I received in the mail:
*available with US residents only*
The list of items I received from them are:
- Stickers for taking monthly pictures until first birthday
- Different kinds of formula (Newborn ready to use, Infant formula in powder for babies with feeding issues and Infant formula in packets for travel/easy to use)
- Latex free nipples
- Flyers and information on Breastfeeding and Formula Feeding
- Gift cards and discount codes
Of course, you need to double check with your baby’s pediatrician if this kind of formula is okay to use. You just can’t give your baby anything you receive for free. Remember, those are new born babies. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Atleast now I don’t have to think about buying infant formula in case my baby needs one. I know I still have to double check with the pediatrician but atleast I have one handy and ready to go. When you just gave birth and your partner is as exhausted as you, you don’t want to drive and find an open store for formula. It pays to be a ready mama. Plus, I get to save as this is free! More $$$ for my savings!
I will be posting more freebies that I have received recently. I did receive some from Amazon and Honest Company. Remember to like my Facebook page and follow this blog so you can be updated.
If you don’t want to read, here’s a youtube video of the things I’ve received from Enfamil:
To all frugal mamas out there, YEY FOR FREEBIES!
P.S. GIVEAWAY ALERT: I will be giving away the gift cards I received from Enfamil. Subscribe to my YouTube page then leave your name and email on the comment section of the YouTube video. Will be announcing the lucky winner on the first of May. Open to all US residents only.
